By using and/or visiting the Site you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy and you expressly consent and agree to be bound by the Terms and all applicable laws and regulations that govern this Site and your booking.
References to "accommodation providers" means the Accommodation Provider/providers of the hotels, apartments, B&B’s and other accommodation of any description featured on this website and "accommodation" means the accommodation including all facilities and services advertised on our website that we have agreed to arrange in connection with your confirmed booking.
Important Information
Irish-breaks.com acts as booking agent only in respect of all bookings we make on your behalf. We undertake no responsibility for and are not liable for the misrepresentations, breaches of contract, breaches of statutory duty or negligence of any of the accommodation providers and other suppliers of services who sell their products and services through us. This means that in the event of you suffering personal injury, illness or death as a result of any act or omission of an accommodation provider or other supplier of services (or their employees or agents) or you having any complaint about the quality of the services provided or having any other complaint at all, your sole right of redress will be against the independent third party who provided such service and Irish-breaks.com will be under no liability at all (whether in contract, tort or otherwise howsoever).
You accept that we have not in any way selected or assembled your travel arrangements for you. Your accommodation arrangements are not a package and do not fall within the meaning of The package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992.
By proceeding to book accommodation and/or other services through the Site, you accept that you will be entering into a contract with the accommodation provider on their standard terms and conditions. If they are provided, we will endeavour (but undertake no liability to do so) to make copies of the accommodation provider's terms and conditions available to you.
You understand that we may not have conducted any quality or other checks on the accommodation providers and we make no representations about the suitability of the accommodation and/or services offered for sale through the Site. The inclusion or offering for sale of an accommodation and/or services by Irish-breaks.com does not constitute an express or implied endorsement or recommendation by Irish-breaks.com of such accommodation or services. We do not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim liability for any inaccuracies relating to the accommodation and services offered for sale through us.
Nothing in these terms of use shall operate to exclude or limit the liability of Irish-breaks.com for fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Where you, or any of the people that you are booking on behalf of, are in breach of any of the provisions of these Terms or contravention of any laws or rights of a third party, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund or compensation in any way and recover from you any costs incurred as a result of your behaviour.
Site content, documentation and booking information.
Irish-breaks.com may modify the content of the Site and/or Terms at any time, and such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified content and/or Terms on the Site and your continued use of or access to this website will be deemed to indicate your acceptance of the modified content and/or Terms.
Any information placed on the Site relating to accommodation advertised on the Site including, but without limitation, details of the accommodation, the availability of rooms at the accommodation, the price of the rooms, the facilities available at the accommodation, any accreditations afforded to the Accommodation and/or any details relating to any other services advertised on the Site have been placed on the Site by accommodation and/or service providers who are independent businesses and are not agents or employees of Irish-breaks.com. Such information does not constitute any advice or recommendation given by Irish-breaks.com and Irish-breaks.com shall not be held liable for inaccuracies or errors in the accommodation contents or any of its elements. These independent businesses provide the services in accordance with their own terms and conditions which may limit or exclude their liability to you. Irish-breaks.com are not liable for any acts, omissions, breaches or negligence of any such independent businesses or any damages or expenses resulting from the aforesaid. Irish-breaks.com are not liable for any refunds in the event of overbooking or any other cause beyond their control.
As Irish-breaks.com acts only as a booking agent we will have no responsibility for any errors in any documentation.
How to book accommodation or other services
Simply search for your chosen destination and dates, select your preferred accommodation provider and proceed to the final booking page. Please ensure you carefully check the dates, the price, the destination and the accommodation provider details before proceeding with your booking.

To make a booking you will be asked to submit personal information, about yourself such as your name, email address, telephone number and credit card details ("Personal Information"). Whenever you provide such Personal Information, Irish-breaks.com will collate and use such Personal Information in accordance with Irish-breaks.com "Privacy Policy". Please read this in full before providing any Personal Information to Irish-breaks.com
Confirmation
To confirm a booking, you must be authorised to make the booking by all persons named on the booking and their parent or guardian for all party members who are under 18 when the booking is made. By making the booking, you are confirming that all persons named on the booking accept the Terms and that you will inform the other persons named on the booking of the confirmation details and any other appropriate information. By making the booking you also become responsible for making all payments due under the booking.
Irish-breaks.com will issue you with an email confirmation. Irish-breaks.com will deduct 10% booking fee from your credit/debit card. The accommodation or other service provider with which you enter into a contract will contact you regarding balance payment.
In the event that you call Irish-breaks.com by telephone, or are called by Irish-breaks.com regarding your booking, calls may be recorded for monitoring and training purposes. In the event of a dispute regarding a booking, Irish-breaks.com reserves the right to review any call information.
If you cancel, amend or change a booking
If you cancel or amend your booking, there may be a cancellation charge or amendment fee levied by the accommodation or other service provider. In any event, if you fail to cancel or amend your booking in accordance with the provider's cancellation or amendment policy, you will be charged a cancellation or amendment fee by the accommodation or other service provider. There is no refund on the booking fee.
If, for whatsoever reason, you do not turn up at the accommodation on the arrival date stated on your booking confirmation email, without prior warning to the accommodation provider ("a no show"), this shall be considered a cancellation.
Insurance
You are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance prior to arriving in your destination. It is your responsibility to check you have adequate insurance cover. The insurance should cover, amongst other things, the cost of cancellation by you, personal losses, all medical costs and the costs of assistance.
Complaints or issues with your accommodation
In the unlikely event that you have reason to complain or experience any problems with your accommodation please inform the accommodation provider immediately, to enable them to take appropriate action.
Accommodation Providers / Guests Responsibilities:
- The Accommodation Provider must honour all bookings if the Accommodation Provider has agreed to advertise either in writing (includes email) or verbally. If for any reasons the accommodation is no longer available the Accommodation Providers must offer the guest alternative accommodation of equal or higher standard at the same price. If the Accommodation Provider is unable to contact the guest they must inform Irish-breaks.com within good time so we can attempt to contact them. Irish-breaks.com cannot be held liable by either the guest or the Accommodation Provider in this situation.
- If a booking has been cancelled and it was an error on irish-breaks.com part we will do our best to source you alternative accommodation. If this accommodation is not accepted we will refund your booking fee.
- Irish-breaks.com provides the facility of blocking off booked dates to the Accommodation Provider. If The Accommodation Provider does not block off booked dates on the irish-breaks.com website and a booking is confirmed Irish-breaks.com has the right to invoice the Accommodation Provider for the commission amount.
- If an Accommodation Provider gets a booking for their accommodation and they have offered their accommodation to potential guests for the same period, they must decline all past enquiries for that period. If they do not do this and a booking is confirmed Irish-breaks.com has the right to invoice the Accommodation Provider for the commission amount.
- If a guest confirms a booking through the website and the confirmed accommodation is no longer available and the Accommodation Provider then offers the guest alternative accommodation, the commission payment is still due to Irish-breaks.com and will be carried on to the new accommodation. If the guest does not accept the alternative accommodation the Accommodation Provider will be due the commission payment to Irish-breaks.com. If Irish-breaks.com chooses to refund the commission payment to the guest then the Accommodation Provider will be due the commission to Irish-breaks.com. Irish-breaks.com will invoice the Accommodation Provider. If the guest is not satisfied with alternative accommodation provided by the Accommodation Provider they must inform Irish-breaks.com immediately, Irish-breaks.com will try to source alternative accommodation of the same price and standard, if this accommodation is not accepted then Irish-breaks.com reserves the right to retain any booking fee that the guest has already paid.
- If a confirmation is made through the website and for unforeseen reasons the accommodation is no longer available the Accommodation Provider will be due the commission payment to Irish-breaks.com.
a) If the Accommodation Provider already has confirmed bookings for the enquiry period and knowingly or otherwise states that their accommodation is available and confirmation is made then this will be deemed to be the Accommodation Providers mistake and the conditions above will apply.
- b) If the Accommodation Provider enters an incorrect rate and confirmation is made then this will be deemed to be the Accommodation Providers mistake and the conditions above will apply.
- It is the Accommodation Provider's responsibility to ensure that the information provided and listed on the website is accurate, legal and decent and complies with Irish Law. If a guest is dissatisfied with the accommodation provided and the accommodation is not as advertised, the Accommodation Providers are responsible for any refunds that may be offered to the guest's including the commission payment that a guest may have already paid. Irish-breaks.com accepts no responsibility or liability for the accuracy of the adverts.
- It is the Accommodation Provider's responsibility to be contactable by the guest on the day of the guest's arrival on the telephone numbers they have provided Irish-breaks.com. If the guest is unable to gain access to the accommodation on the day of arrival Irish-breaks.com will try to contact the Accommodation Provider on the guests behalf. If Irish-breaks.com is not able to contact the Accommodation Provider on the contact numbers provided, and Irish-breaks.com decides that the guest has been waiting for an unacceptable length of time, then Irish-breaks.com reserves the right to offer the guest alternative accommodation. The Accommodation Provider will be due the commission amount that the guest has already paid to Irish-breaks.com + 30% charge for the extra work that has been carried out by Irish-breaks.com. The Accommodation Provider should also refund any monies that the guest has paid them directly. Neither the guest nor the Accommodation Providers can hold Irish-breaks.com liable in this event. The Accommodation Provider and the guests are both advised to take out relevant holiday let insurance to cover them in this situation.
- The Accommodation Provider or person who advertises the accommodation must have consent to let their accommodation by all other parties that are involved in any way. The person, agency or any business who advertises the accommodation on the Accommodation Providers behalf will be held responsible rather than the Accommodation Provider in the event of any of these terms are broken.
- An Accommodation Provider is due to pay the commission payment to Irish-breaks.com if the guest has not already paid us directly and in full by the date of arrival. Irish-breaks.com will issue The Accommodation Provider with an invoice in this event.
- Accommodation Providers are required to quote for the full period that the guest requires. If a booking is made through the website for a longer period than the Accommodation Provider has quoted for then the Accommodation Provider will be due the extra commission payment to Irish-breaks.com. Irish-breaks.com will issue The Accommodation Provider with an invoice in this event.
- By accepting a reservation from a Guest that has been initially introduced to you by Irish-breaks.com, The Accommodation Provider agrees to pay the agreed commission rate in full unless the guest has already paid it to Irish-breaks.com. The Accommodation Provider is due the commission rate to Irish-breaks.com even if they offer the guest accommodation that is not advertised on the website, The Accommodation Provider will be invoiced in this situation unless the guest has already paid Irish-breaks.com.
- Irish-breaks.com cannot be held liable by the Accommodation Provider in the event of Guests cancellation or no show and is advised to take out relevant insurance to cover any losses that may arise from this event.
- Irish-breaks.com does not take any responsibility for gas and electrical safety of any accommodation. The Accommodation Provider is responsible for maintaining their accommodation and adhering to all relevant laws and legislations.
- Irish-breaks.com cannot be held responsible for any personal injury of holiday guests whilst in occupation of the accommodation.
- Irish-breaks.com reserves the right to withdraw their service at anytime.
- Irish-breaks.com accepts no responsibility for any damage in any shape or form to the accommodation.
- Irish-breaks.com accepts no liability in respect of damage to, or loss of, personal property.
- To maintain the integrity The Accommodation Providers are not permitted to include links to other websites or telephone numbers or e-mail addresses on their property page or anywhere within the publicly accessible information they provide or within any correspondence between themselves and the enquirer.
- If the Accommodation Providers have more than 1 property/room and respond to an enquirer offering a different property/room than the one advertised they should contact Irish-breaks.com to ask them to change the property/room name on the enquiry.
- Irish-breaks.com reserves the right to delete, modify or amend any accommodation advertisements not adhering to these terms
