Since it began in 1997 this spectacular children’s' Festival of the Arts has been visited by 72,000 people.

It has proved to be very educational offering workshops and performances of the highest calibre from around the world for families and school children. Performers travel to venues situated around Galway to visit community centres, schools and youth centres. Since the launch of the first festival the goal has been to give the children in Galway an insight into the arts and to inspire Irish artists to create productions of work for the benefit of the children.

Baboro has the support of the Arts Council of Ireland and is registered as a charity.

This year the festival runs from 11th - 17th October 2010
