Celebrating it's 22nd Birthday this year. Galway Film Fleadh runs from 6th - 11th July 2010. Each July film makers and fans are welcomed to the Galway Film Fleadh. The festival runs for 6 days and is a feast of global film making. Those in film media are able to show their work to their peers and film fans. Since it was founded its format has hardly changed and is frequented by directors, producers, students, film buffs and those lucky enough to have received an invitation to be there.

In the past such famous names such as Jeremy Irons, Matt Dillon, Maureen O'Hara, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Moore and the late Oliver Reed have taken part in or visited the festival. Many famous faces are to be seen every year.
