The National Gallery, Dublin

Founded in 1864, the grand National Gallery in Dublin's Merrion Square houses the finest of Irish art.

A vast collection of art from the 14th to the 20 centuries can be viewed here including the works of Jack Yeats, Orpen and Lavery, O'Conor, Osborne and Leech.

Opening times are:

Monday - Saturday 9.30am - 5.30pm
Thursday 9.30am - 8.30pm

The Gallery is closed every year on Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day

Daily tours are available in July and August. Visitors for tours should assemble in the Shaw Room
