Bantry House, set in splendid surroundings, in situated 80km from Cork.
The house, on the shore of Bantry Bay was built around 1740 and was enlarged in 1765.
Take a self guided tour and view the magnificent artifacts, the art collection and tapestries from Versailles then stroll around the Italianate gardens and view the fountain and one hundred steps.
Hospitality is to hand in the tea room where guests can enjoy a light lunch, tea, coffee, wine or beer.
The house is open from March until October.
